Quinn was terrific. Knowledgeable, efficient, and cool to hang out with. He put us on a monster school of Mangrove Snapper and my first-time fishing daughter (age 19) and me, we hit every cast. Caught easily 30 fish each in the first 1.5 hours and kept enough to feed a family of 4 over multiple meals. It was awesome!  When that got tiring and we had our fill, he took us to a wreck to fish deeper for bigger guys. Got hooked on 3 bigs, pulled a hook on one and lost two to sharks (teeth marks on the empty line!). All in all, a great day fishing with tons of great memories. Definitely recommend!

There is a lot of water in the ocean.  Where are the fish, Captain Quinn knows.  He put us on fish right away.  They weren’t big enough to keep, so we made a move.  He was talking with the other boats to figure out the best place to be.  Just a slow day, but he still managed to put us in a position for some “keepers”.  I chose him because of some experienced reviewers, and they were correct.  I had my daughter with me, who were not experienced.  With patience, he gave everyone the necessary attention to coach them to catch the fish.  I recommend using Jersey Keys and will use them again when I find myself back down this way.  Thanks Captain Quinn!

After much research, my husband and I decided on Jersey Key charters and so happy we went with them. We fish a lot and have done many charters over the years. We travel to the keys from the Sarasota/Tampa area a couple times and year. This time, we were here visiting for our anniversary and decided to book a fishing charter for our special day. We went with the 6 hour reef & wreak option and so happy that we did. It was the perfect amount of time and got to fish for all types of fish. We met captain Quinn at the Marina a little late (trying to get breakfast early) and he was completely understanding and didn’t make us feel bad about it which was a relief. From there we made a quick stop to check some bait traps and were on the reef catching our limit of yellow tail snapper in no time. From there, he got us on Mahi and even caught the biggest black fin tuna we’ve ever caught and will probably ever catch in our lifetime. Also snagged a monster of a black grouper but had to put back because they were out of season.  When we got back to the docks, he quickly cleaned and packaged our fish. The entire time, he was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and overall just fun to be on the boat with. Like I mentioned above, we fish a lot and have done many charters over the years and this one was by far the best one yet! Thanks Quinn for a great time.
