Our family of four had a blast on our four hour action packed fishing trip! The boat was very comfortable to move around in. Captain Quinn put us right on the fish. My son hooked and battled a big nurse shark. He also caught a Jack Crevalle. Captain Quinn was great at explaining and answering questions since we fish freshwater. Captain Quinn’s level of excitement matched ours when we had a fish on. It is obvious that Captain Quinn loves his job. The vibe was perfect. No doubt we will be back for another trip. This fishing trip was the absolute perfect way to end an amazing week in the keys! The beautiful sunset was an added bonus.

I had such a good time!!! Captain Quin was amazing, he took me straight to the fish!!! within 2 minutes of my first cast, caught an amazing Mangrove Snapper. After a while, we moved to another spot and caught several big Mutton Snappers!!! Overall it was an amazing day of fishing. I have been on several charters, and I have to say that Captain Quin is a true Captain and knows where the fish are and understands the ocean. I will definitely be booking again with Jersey Key and Captain Quin.

I went offshore with my daughter and son for my 66th birthday, with Capt. Mike and Dillon. We had an awesome experience catching yellowtail snapper and quite a few Mahi Mahi. Unfortunately we lost 2 tuna to a couple of sharks, that would have been icing on the cake. Capt. Mike and Dillon were an absolute blast to spend the day with, and they worked very hard to make sure we enjoyed our day on the water. They took the time to explain the local fisheries. I would definitely recommend Jersey Key charters to everyone, if I get back to Marathon again I will book with them again. Safe travels and good luck too you Capt. Mike.

By far the most fun out our groups 3 fishing charters. We started off the day targeting wrecks for deep live bait fishing. Unable to hookup any of the large fish we continued to head off shore stopping at weed lines and birds diving on bait, the mahi were not biting so we headed to Marathon hump, 30 miles out. We caught 2 skip jacks that were fun to reel in as they put up a fight. We headed back inland hitting up more mahi spot indicators but unable to catch any. The largest fish I have ever caught happened in 200 ft water targeting amberjack, and snapper. It took me 15 minutes to get the fish in the boat. We caught another jack and an additional amber jack. The captain and first mate were supportive and understanding of the bad luck on mahi and tuna.

My son and I went offshore and reef/wreck fishing in September. We were the only or one of the few boats that caught mahi due to the water temp and time of the year. Captain Mike was honest and we had to reschedule due to weather twice. I’m thankful Cpt Mike was honest as well as his willingness to look further out than others, which is why we caught fish. I highly recommend Jersey Charters because of honesty and the fact that he wanted our charter to be successful and enjoyable. Thanks Mike. Best of luck.
