Even though the fish were slow to bait, they got us on the fish right away in both spots! Nice boat and worked really really well with 10yr old daughter! Caught even for a meal and will definitely book next time in the Keys!!

We had a great day fishing with Capt. Quinn.  He had us on quality fish the whole trip, and he was great with helping our 10 yr old son pull on big snapper, grouper, and more. Our son is already asking when we can book another trip.

Fishing has been very tough by all accounts but Capt Mike ran all over looking for the right signs and sue enough he put us on yellowtail snapper and mahi ( even a wahoo chance) when around us others were struggling.
We ended the day with a full hall and left them biting.  Boat was smooth and stable in the cup and made the rude home a breeze .
Highly recommend and will fish with them again

  We switched from Tuesday to the previous Sunday because of the weather forecast for Tuesday. One complaint (and this has nothing to do with Quinn) about this trip is that we were taken out on the wrong boat. This was a much smaller boat than we were supposed to be on and we never met Mike. But, the smaller boat worked out OK and fishing with Quinn was amazing. He was so good to be with, he understood what we wanted and needed and he did what we wanted and needed. Fishing has been poor in the whole area, but Quinn put us on some decent fish and we had such a great time fishing with him! My wife thought he was great, too!
  One final thing that I’m not so sure was figured correctly. Again, nothing about Quinn, this decision was made by Mike. So, we paid ~$140 upfront. Because of the wrong boat issue, the weather getting bad, fish not being really active, changing our fishing date from Tuesday to Easter Sunday, Mike wanted to make us an offer. Since we were originally doing a 3/4 day with Mike on his larger boat for $950. He offered us a price for 1/2 day (which is how long we fished), cheaper boat, and everything I mentioned earlier, for $600. I didn’t feel like I had much time to calculate anything, so I agreed. But later on, after thinking more about it, I don’t think roughly $650 for 1/2 day, smaller boat, etc. was that great of a deal. Isn’t that about the normal price for a 1/2 day small boat reef/wreck trip?
  Sorry Mike, this isn’t a big complaint, I’m just not sure I’m understanding everything correctly, so please don’t hold this against us, we will be back next year and want to book with you again!!! Quinn was awesome!!!!

Due to circumstances beyond control we were not able to complete our trip but Capt. Mike and crew were very competent and placed the well being of guests above that of just catching fish. We definitely appreciated that, says a lot about the kind of Captain he is.  Looking forward to a trip with him next year as the weather would not cooperate to get us back out on the water this year!
