- Growing up near the sea in Mexico meant that Captain Ramirez grew up with a rod in his hands. It was only logical, then, that he turn his passion, and the passion of a community, into a profession. He's been a qualified captain since 2004 and just loves running charters. For Capt. Ramirez, seeing people smile as they reel in a fish is the biggest perk of the job, along with being able to spend time on the water.
