Saginaw Bay is hot walleye fishing now.

Windrift charters back on the water today and man what a burner it was!!! We had a great group of 5 on the boat this morning and we put them to work right away. Capt Doug McQueen and I sat right on them took almost an hr to finally get all lines in water,and never stopped we got their 40 with an 1.5 left in trip they were worn out and we headed back to dock. Today we fished deeper 24ft, 7 minnows bright colors today,1.6-1.9 speed. Thank you to our group for choosing Windrift Charters Capt Doug and I had a blast with you guys. May 6th great day on the Saginaw Bay

May 6th morning trip with Denis and his friend. Had a AM trip it was wet and cold. There was a two day blow out of the north.The fishing was slow to start but we found the fish a few miles from were they where. The fishing was fantastic. The fishing is really good now is only going to get better. Captain Doug

I am giving a fishing report. May and the start of june the fishing out of Linwood Mi. Has been very good. Windrift Charter’s has had extremely good fishing, and expect it to continue.

Windrift Charters is taking bookings now. We start running trips May 15th 2024. We run 7 day a week. To get your reservation book early. The booking starts now. We have a small boat as well 20 footer i can charter up to 3 people that run from Apirl though Dec. So we have my 30 footer and the 20 footer. Hope to talk to you for a summer adventure. It was a rough day out on the big lake. We got some fish. Every one handled the water, and it was fun the little guy made the trip.

It was a tough bite and the conditions were not the best. The crew tried thier best. It was tough to get on the fish.

We had two days of wind and we had to look for the fish. We worked hard to get fish and we did get some.had a lot of short fish only wish we could have got more.
