Great Day With Dorados

Today we had John and Mary from Louisiana celebrating their daughter's high school senior trip, total 5 people onboard. John types: "I mostly want something we can cook at the private house and maybe land something big for my daughter" . Nauti Ventures crew: "Will 2 Sailfish and 6 mahi mahi do it, Sir?" Boom, another satisfied customer!!

Day #4 OWC 2022

Apr 28, 2022 Quepos

It was an amazing experience as always to be part of the Offshore World Championship!! Our boat Nauti Ventures ended overall in 10th place out of 37 boats (not 39 sorry) and contributed with 20 Sailfish, 3 Marlin and 1 Mahi for a total of 4500points. The great ocean out of Quepos proved itself once more why where we are located is considered a top fishing destination of the world. This tournament brought total catches of 606 Sailfish, 67 Marlin and 24 mahi mahi in 4 days...those are some impressive numbers, I have to say!!! So be sure to contact us to book your fishing charter in Quepos...we don't disappoint!! Tight Lines!

Today was a bit better then yesterday, ended the day with 6 sailfish and 1 mahi mahi putting us on 6th place overall out of 39 boats for a total of 4428.5 points....Can't wait for tomorrow the last day of the tournament, we have an outstanding team from Slovenia. Wish us luck!! Tight Lines!

This is the second time in the last year that I have paid over a $1k for a charter fishing trip and caught nothing. I’ve been an angler all my life and if frustrated me that you pay to play on these boats and they lose motivation if they had any to put on some fish. We were told that bait is included but not that we were going to spread almost 2 hours of my paid time to catch our bait fish because the crew was unable. Never again..
