I am environmentally conscious and strive to protect our resources, yet let my clients take what nature has provided us. I was a paramedic in the Coast Guard and also have my degree in Safety and Occupational Health. I take pride in my work and use my military experience to provide a safe and memorable trip to clients. I use the latest technology to stay abreast of the weather and tides to keep the clients and myself out of unfavorable conditions. Complete customer satisfaction is my goal and I will strive to accomplish that on each and every trip.

Had the pleasure of guiding 3 generations of the Patton’s from Georgia on Sunday. We pulled plugs in the morning for grouper then hit some shallow rocks to snag a few grunts, mackeral and some short grouper. Then moved to the nearshore mangroves to pick up a nice red at 26 inches and a few more shorts. A great time was had by all. Capt. Kevin

Had Brenda and Josh out for a half day trip. Limited out on redfish in 30 minutes plus a few more. Josh was top dog today with a 27 inch bruton a pinfish. Had a mived bag after that

Banging the Drums

Had David and his wife out for a half day charter on Saturday. Despite the high winds and unfavorable tides we caught redfish, black drum, snapper, sheepshead , and a snooklet. Bonus bald eagles on the way out. Great day and great times on the water. Capt Kevin

Mixed Bag

I went scouting late in October to try some new spots. Picked up a nice King Mackerel and a jumbo Spanish Mackerel, both while trolling plugs. Also jigged up a flounder. Now it is time to fire up the smoker. Book your trip now as the weather has cooled off and trolling for grouper is heating up Capt Kevin

Capt Kevin Trahan, Excellent Captain and guide. I booked a trip for my sons visit with his family. Originally planned for Sunday but as we closer to our trip, i realized that Saturday would be better as it would be 80 and sunny vs 60s and rain. Pete Thanks for choosing to fish with Finders Keepers Charters. We found a few willing redfish to take a live shrimp on a Bulls Bay Asault rod paired with a Florida Fishing Products reel. We also managed a few short redfish and black drum as well as some short trout. Overall it was really good day on the water with some really nice clients. Capt Kevin.

This was our second trip with Captain Kevin and once again, it was an incredible experience! He is not only extremely knowledgeable but also incredibly kind and patient—especially with kids. Our son was a bit hesitant to get in the water at first, but Captain Kevin took the time to talk with him and helped him feel comfortable. Today was the best day ever. Caught lots of fish…. Even a small shark. Capt Kevin was extremely personalble knowledgeable. A joy the whole day. Made sure we caught fish then a trip to see manatee before our event ended. Needless to say we six grandmother’s will bring our grand babies soon.

Ladies It was a pleasure having you guys out on the boat on a crisp winter day. The temps never got higher than 55 and the water in the bay is where we fished. captin kevin is top notch, ive fished over 30+ yr and been on alot of guided trips and kevin is one of the best ive fished with. great personality and just a fun guy to be around , also put me and my kids on fish all day. we took home several bags of fish. highly recommend

it was fun going out with Captain Kevin. Weather was not conducive for catching big fish, the captain Kevin worked hard trying to find fish for us. Even though we did not bring any keepers home we caught a lot of fish and had a great time.
