Going into the day, conditions were about as adverse as they could be. First, we showed thirty minutes late (always check traffic in peak hours on maps!). Second, the bait shop was closed due to a national holiday. And finally, there was a southerly current and cloudy water thanks to hurricane Idalia.
Capitan Jorge first remedied the bait situation with a single cast of his cast net, providing us with more bait than we could possibly use in one day (which was cool to watch!) Within 30 minutes, he then had lines out in the water, and maybe a minute after that we had a 4ft barracuda on the hook. Shortly thereafter, my girlfriend caught her first Bonita, and we were on for the rest of the day.
In spite of the adverse conditions that day, Capitan Jorge provided us with an amazing day of fishing. His expertise, knowledge, professionalism, and friendly attitude ensured he was able to cater to all levels of experience which made the trip.
At the end of the day, we had enough snapper and king fish for several meals, one of which the restaurant at the marina cooked up as soon as we got back. If we are ever in the area again, we look forward to fishing with Capitan Jorge.

My family and I were on vacation and booked a charter last minute. We were completely taken care of like we had planned our trip for months ahead of time!

Jorge was a great captain! Very knowledgeable and personable! It felt like we were out fishing with a member of our family.  Jorge filleted our catch and brought us to a restaurant where our catch was prepared deliciously.

Can’t wait for our next trip!

Captain Jorge is amazing! The title couldn’t say it better. We had a great time. The boat was clean and ready for us promptly at 7am. We went out deep but due to sea sickness we asked to move to calmer waters. We changed up, moved inland, and stayed right on the fish the entire time. Great conversation. Super easy to work with. Definitely a great captain to fish with. 10 out of 10.

My son and I had a fantastic time w Captain Jorge; he put us on fish immediately and we caught fish all morning (1/2 day charter). Captain Jorge is very professional yet personable (they don’t always go together). Looking forward to many feasts ahead, esp the Blackfin tuna, with all the fish we took home. Great Captain, great boat, we will be back!
