Had a blast with Captain Jake! Booked a 4 hour trip inshore. Jake took us to several different spots and was able to get us on redfish, king mackerel, and mangrove snapper. Captain Jake was so much fun, knowledgeable, very patient and willing to teach a midlevel and beginner angler. I highly recommend Captain Jake and look forward to booking future trips with Gulf Bay Charters 2!

I’m an avid angler and fish all around the country, by fare this was the best charter I’ve been on. Don’t waste your time or money, Captain and mate are 5 star rock stars ⭐️ . We caught over 70 fish in a 4 hr span. The captain moved around to his different honey wholes and look for yourself.

The best fishing experience I have had ever!  Jake fishes like I hunt.  It was all about racing to the prime locations, catching anything and everything in that spot then off to the next one. 

With-in 45min of getting on the water, we arrived at the first spot and limited out on red snapper.  We caught so many that we were up sizing and throwing the smaller ones back in the water.  Then it was off to other locations catching black and white snapper. 

Of course all these charters say they will bait your hooks, but when you fish with Jake, him and his first mate couldn’t keep up with the amount of fish my 4 person family was catching them.  Before long we baited ourselves because it was so fun and exciting!

Had a great time, great experience and even my wife that dislikes fishing and didn’t want to go in the first place said she would do it again.  If that doesn’t say a lot about Jake and Gulf Bay Charters then I don’t know what would.

I have a bout done away with fishing on charter boats after the last couple experiences because years ago I had a captain that I really enjoyed in a great place I’ve had several I liked in the last couple times I went were terrible but this captain Jake revived my interest in coming back and doing it again we had such a great time catching fish and fun it was worth every second of it is a little further than we drove we’re going to drive but once we got there met him and went out fishing with him I would drive it all over again and it was only like 20 miles from where we were staying at I would recommend anybody and I will recommend anybody to take care of that again
