Captain worked great with us newbies and showed us the best time we could handle. Thank you sooo much.

This is the second year in a row that we have gone out fishing with captain Don and for the second year in a row, we had an amazing time. This time we reserved the full boat for just the four of us, myself, my father, my teenage son, and my brother-in-law.

The boat is just perfect for a small group (6 max) and has all the equipment you need to catch whatever is biting. The captain has great experience and knows where to go to find the fish. He is also really great at makings sure that everyone on the boat has the help they need while at the same time not being overly helpful and taking away from the fishing experience. A perfect balance.

Add to all that a great and freindly personality and it is clear why captain Donald is one of the best in the area! I truly hope that we will be able to come back next year for a third year in a row!

By far one of the best charter fishing experiences I’ve had. Captain Don made us feel right at home on his boat. He’s personable, fun, and friendly. Captain Don is also a master of his craft. Our first line in the water had a fish on before it even hit bottom. We then proceeded to reach our limit in the next three hours. Despite getting a bit seasick from mixed swell and jet lag, I had an amazing time and would not hesitate to recommend Pastime for an incredible charter fishing experience. I know I’ll certainly be back

My grandson had been asking about an ocean fishing trip for a while so when my son & his family visited, I scheduled this trip to include myself, my son, and my grandson. It was an great experience for all in every aspect.

I’ve booked a handful of other trips over the years so I’d like to highlight what made this trip better than any of the others. First was the captain who made us all feel like guests who’d been invited to join him. The boat was smaller than past trips I’ve taken (max 6, actual 5 guests) which really made it feel more like a day out fishing instead of a production line. On other trips, it felt more like the crew did everything and you were just there to haul away your catch at the end; for this trip, the captain did as much or as little as you wanted. In other words, it actually felt like a fishing trip!
