Kept alot of small fish.  Seems as though we concentrated on one species and got the feeling that the captain just wanted to limit out.  We Kept alot of small fish, and didn’t move much in pursuit of other fish.

I had an awesome time hitting the water with Pastime Fishing Adventures! Seabass is my favorite fish and Captain Don knows all about putting people on seabass. I left with about 4.5 pounds of filets. E V E R Y O N E was catching fish left & right and I hit my personal best for bass! (4.25#) At one point we caught 4 fish within a minute across 5 people. We also got salmon/crab/lingcod. I probably asked Don a dozen general fishing questions and left with a ton of tips about tides, locations, baits/rigs and even some recipes. Well priced, friendly guide, and excellent equipment. Shimano everything, I’m sure it wasn’t cheap! I highly recommend this service and can’t wait for the next trip :)

Captain Don was wonderful.  He was knowledgeable about the areas where fish are located and was able to ferry us around to lots of different areas.  My stomach wasn’t terribly excited about the way the ocean was acting, but the other members of my family had a great time and I appreciated the captains ability to not make me feel badly about my unfortunate chumming of the waters on multiple occasions.  While I would not personally go out on a boat again, I know my husband is anxiously awaiting another opportunity to go out with Captain Don for a fishing adventure.

Fun trip

We had such an outstanding trip with Pastime Adventures. Captain Donald went above and beyond any expectations we had. From the prompt communication beforehand, flexibility and care during the trip, and expert work preparing our haul for the table, Captain Donald really made our day on the water memorable. It wasn’t just the great fishing - Captain Donald was warm and professional, obviously an extremely knowledgeable angler and sportsman in his own right while making us feel welcome, offering tips and wisdom throughout the day.

We were lucky enough to fill every limit on the boat with delicious canaries, and the more than A DOZEN keeper dungeoness were the icing on the cake. We enjoyed all the amazing PNW coast had on offer including dolphins, seals and sea lions, sunny skies and tight lines. Needless to say, we will be looking to Pastime Adventures and Captain Donald any time we find ourselves back in the neighborhood.
