Had an absolutely incredible day aboard the Jolly Roger II with Captain Joe and First Mate Brian! We filled the box with mahi, picked up a king mackerel and a barracuda, and the highlight of the trip was my daughter landing a 6.5-foot sailfish—an unforgettable moment and truly the catch of a lifetime. We went out on Dec 30.  Cold (60) and windy but the boat has a large enclosed area and Joe knows how to ride the waves and Brian , the first mate, knew how to catch fish.  We caught grouper, mackerel, yellowtail snapper.  Threw some back as we could only eat so much.  What we kept were great eating.  Totally do it again.  Actually thinking if coming back in may for mahi mahi fishing

Booked a 3/4 day trip for my son and I and we couldn’t have had a better time! We arrived early but Captain Joe and Brain were ready to go so we got an early start. They were great explaining how the day would go and they got us to the right spots to pull in 10 Mahi-Mahi!  We even had to through a couple back along with a barracuda and tuna too!  Took our catch to a restaurant to get them cooked up and had one of the best lunches ever. Reef fishing and deep sea fishing. Captain and Mate were very honest with us about deep sea fishing not being great that day, but we still wanted to try anyways. They took us to the reef where we caught enough fish for dinner and a few barracuda’s for the thrill of it and then we went deeper. We didn’t catch anything, but we sure had fun trying.

Captain Joe and firstmate Bryan were great! They taught us the ropes about inshore fishing and quickly got us hooked up. Yellow tail , barracuda, an American shark, and a few others.  We went straight to have some of our catch prepared, at a recommended restaurant. It was a memorable afternoon and we are grateful!
