- Background
- Jon started fishing as soon as he could hold a rod in his hand...and he was hooked immediately! In the beginning, those were family trips with his brother, dad, and grandpa. As he got older, the passion for fishing took him around the world. He fished everywhere from the jungle of Nicaragua, the flats of Belize, to the glacial waters of Alaska. He always comes back to NC during the fall to catch False Albacore. His main fishing technique is fly fishing.
- Techniques
- I prefer light tackle and fly fishing because it is more challenging and exciting than other techniques while working more effectively most of the time. That being said I use every technique available to catch some fish.
