captain and crew seemed to know the waters pretty well and found us some fish.  Our catch was sent to a local restaurant where we had a delicious meal of cerviche and grilled barracuda.

Captain and crew knew how to fish area. Storm blew in during our trip and Diego handled it superbly! And we were still catching fish!

Captain and first mate worked all trip to get us fish. We had 6 bites and landed 1 Mahi 1 Cuda and 1 Mackerel. Charly stayed in touch with me through out the reservation process.  Quite the process of getting to the boat though.

We had an amazing day with captain Carlos and his deck mate. We caught 5 barracuda and 1 Spanish Mackerel, the guides said the fishing was slower than normal but we were just happy to be out there! Because the fishing was slow they brought us to an area where we snorkelled with sea turtles and stingrays which was nothing short of amazing.
After landing on shore we headed to El Capitan Restaurant where we were met with a warm welcome and served the fish we just caught, fresh Barracuda Ceviche & Mackerel fillets prepared 4 different ways. Was a phenomenal experience and would absolutely recommend!

We booked an 8 hour trip starting at 8.30 am. Supposed to meet someone from Jasmin Fishing on the beach but no-one turned up. The carpark attendant and another fisherman phoned them for us and eventually Tito turned up at 10.30. The boat is small without much shade. We trolled for a few hours and Tito worked hard baiting the hooks and keeping the lines free of seaweed. Eventually I hooked a small barracuda and to my surprise the boat sped up and the rod harness was strapped to my waist. I was having difficulty winding in and then noticed that I was being filmed with the rod bending as if I had a big fish on the line. Inevitably the fish came off due to the speed of the boat. I complained about this and next time we hooked a fish the boat did not speed up and there was no filming. We caught 4 small/medium sized barracuda. The snorkelling was in an area where all the boats go and they throw bait overboard to attract the fish and rays. The hard corals there are nearly all dead.
