Captain and crew were really nice and the food was great. There was a slight language barrier, but the overall experience was definitely worth it. In total we caught 5 nice tuna. The boat had a nice area to rest in; in between bites, away from the sun, and had a great view from the upper deck. The fishing gear has seen some better days but it definitely got the job done.

When you want a bargain, you get what you pay for. On the SS epoxy everything is held together with resin. From the boot, to the rods, the reels and even the life jackets. We caught no fish whilst trolling. Bottom fishing I was lucky and caught two small fish but most of the other folks caught zero. The crew were very helpfull but are probably the worst fisherman on Phuket. Lunch was nice and we went for a swim. Overall it still was a great day!

The reels are outdated. they have single speed reels with limited drag. In addition, they do not have their reels full of line. because of this some reels have very little line on them when trolling. The one fish we hooked up spooled the reel in less than 10 seconds and broke off. I believe with more line, I might have had a chance to land the fish. Also, their English is limited.
