Not sure why you would say that , as the halibut were at least a hour out from were we were and your time left would not allowed to get to the halibut grounds and back ..

Hummm just a four ok that the worse I’ve ever got !!
But it takes time to learn and it takes time on the water to learn your not going to do it on a short trip ever .
There people who fish for years including myself that still lose fish , doesn’t matter if the fish in the line it takes time and practice to learn.
