The captain and mate could not have been more helpful.  The boat I signed up for had bad fuel so the captain upgraded to a larger boat at the same charter rate.  Unfortunately that boat was at a different marina than where the cruise ship docked .  The captain picked me up and returned me to cruise dock.  Now the fishing.  The mate was first rate.  The big eye tuna (240lbs) took 1 hr 20 mins to land.  We had a great weather window and the sea was flat calm.  I can’t say enough positive... Tried bottom fishing and trolling with the Galáxia. Had a little bit of a slower day, but did catch a few, and the captain and first crew tried extremely hard to get us in fish. We enjoyed our time

We had a super fishing trip with the Galaxy. Different fishing techniques many fish a lot of fun. Great service on board. We can only recommend you! Many thanks to both of you for this great day

Captain Paulo and crewmate Sofia are very professional and friendly! They taught us how to use the fishing equipment and about the local fish, provided snacks and drinks, and were great company for the afternoon. We got to take the fish we caught with us afterwards and they helped us clean and bag the fish. Great experience!

Actually fished on the Galaxia from Ponta Delgada as Frontino skipper was injured! Hard going but managed a nice Bluefish of 6kg. Paulo covered plenty of fish but they just weren’t having it unfortunately. Having another go in a few days… fingers crossed for an Amberjack.
