What a great day on the water with my sons!! We started the morning targeting Tarpon and although we didn’t catch any, we certainly saw some MONSTERS!!!  During that time we had some Jacks follow a bait in and my son was able to catch one.  After a couple hours on Tarpon we switched off and caught 5 Snook and a nice Blue Fish!  Capt. Evan put us in all the right spots and kept our poles baited and in the water consistently!  He even let me extend the charter as my boys were having so much fun and we went back to try Tarpon again and had several 100#+ swim right under our boat but no catches today. 

You can tell this guy loves to fish because on the way back to the dock he stopped twice because he spotted some Tarpon and wanted to try to get us one!  We also had a dolphin breach right behind our boat and saw a large school of rays…. So cool!!  BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE!

Captain Evan did a good job of getting us on fish right away.  We caught a few snook, snapper, jack, and a redfish.  Once it warmed up, fishing slowed down, but we still caught a few.  Captain Evan had the baitwell full to start the day.  He did a great job of keeping our lines in the water by always being ready to get a fresh bait on quickly.  Overall, it was a decent day of fishing considering the high water temp, but from what I’ve seen this area by Indian Rocks and Clearwater has many of the inshore captains forced to hit the same spots each day.  There is also a lot of idle speed boat time between spots due to the large number of no wake areas.

Great trip w captain Evan!  Went out for a 1/2 day and were reeling them in from our first cast to our last.  Lots of action and captain Evan was very well prepared and ready to assist us with bait and gear.  Took my son and Evan was very patient with all the questions and was knowledgeable on the different species and baits.  Great time and will book again!!

We had such a great time with Captain Evan.  He was very patient with the first timers in the group, teaching us how to cast and drop the line.  We went to a number of locations and caught many different types of fish.  The trip was a birthday gift for my dad, who loved talking shop with Captain Evan.  Thanks again for a great trip!
