Outstanding day fishing in Loreto! Captain and first mate very experienced and took extra time to ensure we had a successful day. Nice job!

Had a great day all around from contacting us in the morning helping us get our fishing license we started off caught some Bonita than got into yellowtail captain Jacinto and Chico both worked hard also got into some Cabrillo than the fun really began had talked to Jacinto about trying for some Dorado so we started trolling for them and didn’t disappoint caught nice bull rt away caught several more than headed back to the marina where Jacinto took the fish to his house n cleaned n stored the fish for us they have a good set up probably one of the best pangas in loreto highly recommend this boat Thankyou Jacinto for a unforgettable trip see you nxt year

I’m glad I paid attention to the reviews.

It’s been pretty tough fishing for the Loreto fishing fleet unless you have bait, and this year, bait was extremely hard to come by. Even the bait sellers were raising their prices because the supply was very low.  But our skipper Jacinto and Chico resolved that issue by catching their own bait before we even boarded their boat.

As expected, the bait made a huge difference The fishing went great. We caught a tremendous variety of fish, yellow tail, dorado (mahi-mahi), bonito, snapper, a 4 ft rooster fish and an even bigger jack that towed us around for a little bit. 

While fishing, the dolphins put on a show. The crew positioned the boat in the middle of hundreds, maybe thousands of porpoises. They gave us an upfront and personal experience of being this close to these incredible animals.

Finally, the crew’s ability to overcome a tough situation by making bait, combined with years of acquired hands on knowledge made our trip a tremendous fishing experience for me and my daughter.

I highly recommend them to anyone! 

One of if not THE best day we’ve ever had on the water. Jacinto and Chico were accommodating in every way! We caught three nice yellowtail amberjacks and a handful of other bottom species but the fishing was only part of this amazing day. We got up close and personal with HUNDREDS of porpoises(three different pods)and a couple members of our group jumped in and got the chance to swim with them. Then on our way to another fishing spot Jacinto and Chico found a big group of sea lions sun bathing on the rocks and got us right up next to them for an awesome viewing and picture taking experience. And to wrap up our trip they brought us in to a beautiful cove with white sand beaches and let us get out and explore/ swim around for a while before we headed back into the marina. Then Jacinto took us to his home where we got to take pictures of our catch and watch him fillet our fish. He even taught one of our group members how to properly filet an amberjack and walked him through the whole process. If you’re trying to find the best captain in loreto look no further than Jacinto! You will not be disappointed

My friends and I had another fine outing on the Jazive1 with Jacinto and Chico. We were able to purchase live mackeral for bait, which yellowtail seem to prefer and started trolling in sight of the marina, because the water was churning with baitfish as yellowtail were in a feeding frenzy which was very exciting. We caught two quickly and lost another one before the feeding frenzy diminished. The largest was 33 pounds. What a fine way to start the day. Then we traveled out past Coronado Island and caught several more fish.  We enjoyed the comradery with the crew and the day flew by. We saw a large sting ray and some porpoises as well. After we returned to the marina, we drove with Jacinto to his house where he filleted our fish and bagged them. He then returned us to our rental house completing a very pleasant day.
