- I'm a 5th generation Floridian and have spent the majority of my life on the waters all over this great state. I was also a teacher for decades here, and find my passion for both fishing and teaching combine to help those coming on the boat have a great experience. I love cruising the mangrove islands here in the Banana River Lagoon for redfish, trout, and snook; but there's something fun about cruising the beaches in the warmer months looking for tarpon, kingfish, and cobia. I prefer live bait fishing, slow trolling, or sight fishing. but I really love putting novices on fish and watching them feel that red or king pulling. It's such a rush.
