My wife and I just completed a fantastic 2 day fishing trip with Capt Ryan and our overall experience was spectacular.  Weather was calm, temps ranged from low 70’s to low 80’s, warm sun and consistent fishing 6 hrs/day.  Keeper counts for 2 days were 66 spec trout, 18 sheephead, 6 drum, 5 keeper reds + 8 throw back bull reds 31” to 41” and about 50 undersized throw backs of various species.  It rapidly became apparent that Capt Ryan knows his trade—he doesn’t homestead an area unless the fish are biting there.  Whenever the pattern slowed, we changed locations and discovered other opportunities.  We also found his mid-week pricing structure unique and appealing and appreciated a great restaurant recommendation that cooked up our fresh catch of the day for us.  Overall, we found this fellow to be very knowledgeable, accommodating, and personable.  He certainly earned our respect and recommendation!  Dennis and Marilyn K, Nov 23.

This was by far, hands down, the BEST experience we had in Louisiana. Captain Ryan was such a great guide. We are all beginners ages 22 - 69 and he met each one of our expectations individually. He is so knowledgeable and patient, and must be a fish whisperer because we were pulling them out as fast as the line went in! We even asked about gators and he did a little side jaunt on the way back to find some. We pulled in some massive reddish and drum, and several speckled trout. We also saw so many dolphins - even one pod of 10+! And at the end, he cleaned and packaged up the fish to go. I cannot recommend him more. Worth every cent.

Let me start of by saying conditions were less than appealing lol. It was blowing like crazy, water was choppy and it was cold! Ryan had us covered though! He made sure we had full rain gear. Fought the wind and somehow still managed to get us some real nice reds. We huddled in, braved the weather and had some great laughs along with a really good time! We would recommend him to anyone looking for a successful day on the water!!
