Background
Captain Tim began fishing at a young age and it has always been his favorite sport and hobby. The captain grew up in Fort Pierce fishing off docks, catwalks, and Jettys. He was given an old aluminum Jon boat as a gift when he was 13. Having a boat changed the game for him. It allowed him to explore the Indian river lagoon which he has done to this day. He's gotten bigger boats since then with this it has allowed him to adventure out into the big blue Atlantic Ocean for some of the greatest fishing adventures. When the time came, Captain Tim decided to get his captain's license because of his love of fishing. To him, life is Family and about being on the water, catching fish, and making memories.
Techniques
Captain Tim's preferred style is live bait bottom fishing and the technique is bridge structure, channel edge, and inlet fishing. Also reef and wreck bottom fishing with live bait. He always enjoys trolling for pelagic.

The nearshore Bite has been a good one! A mix of Spanish mackerel on the large size pushing 30 inches. sheep's head and mangrove snappers. customers enjoyed nonstop action. Offshore- the 80 to 90 ft ledge outside of ft pierce has produced some nice kings and dolphin. Sailfish are hanging around to the south I've heard of a strong bite in the Stuart and Jupiter area. Seas have been rough. They will begin to lay down as we approach April. Inshore- the bite has stayed strong in the river red fish and trout being found in deeper waters. Try fish structure around docks on the high tides with gulp swimming mullet and live bait. Snook bite has been consistent around the bridges and inlets on trolling lures and live bait.

What a beautiful last couple of days on the Indian River Lagoon. Winds have calmed down and the bite has picked up. With weather in the mid to upper 70's. I'm looking forward to the next week being the same. Big Mangrove snapper moved into the inshore! Spanish mackerel are still around as well as the Sheepshead. Glad to see the pompano are starting to get into the action along with a wide variety of other fish. Spotted sea trout and reds are hitting early morning with the sunrise using live bait and artificial top water lures. grouper season is only a month away! Mr. gag grouper made an appearance yesterday!
