We loved our 3 hour fishing trip with Captain John!!! He was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. He picked us up on North Captiva Island and was so easy to communicate with and accommodating. Our daughter had never really fished and he helped her catch some keepers! She now loves fishing! He patiently baited all our hooks with live bait fish and then helped remove the ones we caught… keepers or not! We even caught enough for a delicious dinner. GREAT Captain! Very knowledgeable about the fishing grounds. We ALL caught fish. All of us!!! We had a 19 year old kiddo who caught his first fish… EVER! We caught a nice little shark and it was DELICIOUS!!!  Great Captain, knew how to properly drive a boat. He crossed into waves and avoided slamming the boat up and down on the waves…. I am fortunate to have experienced many guides and charters over time. Capt John is excellent. Good equipment, attention to detail and got us into fish all day. I would suggest going in with the attitude that you want to have a good time and let Capt John steer you to the fish. We had 2 teens that had never fished salt water and they had an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend

Captain John worked hard to make sure all of us learned how to cast, reel and set the hook!  He handled all the selfless tasks of baiting the hooks, un-hooking the catches, and repairing the lines when necessary.  He also cleaned and filet them when we returned.  All we had to do was take care of the Fun stuff!  A great experience with a well seasoned professional!  Highly recommend!
