Captain John really knows what he is doing. We caught an abundance of fish, and different species. Very personal as well. My wife and I had a great time,she even caight the fish of her life so far. We will recommend Captain John to anyone looking for a charter and will defintely be going to him for all our future charters.

Captain John is awesome!  He was on time, AND put us on some fish right away!  His boat was comfortable and perfect for our day on the water!  In addition to catching fish, we also saw a dolphin, a stingray and a manta ray!  We had a great day with Captain John, and are excited to fish with him again!

Captain John provided for an excellent morning of fishing for the three of us.  Conditions may not have been exactly optimal but he put us on the fish (mostly snapper and trout) and we came out with a nice haul of fish!! I would highly recommend Captain John / Bent Rod Charter for your next fishing experience!!!

Captain John was probably the best charter guide I ever had and I have been on 50+ charter trips. He took my adult son and I out on a very windy day and both of us caught Snook, Redfish, Trout & Snapper. His boat, equipment and bait were excellent. Had a great day and booked another full day trip for next week!

August can be a challenge with warm water, hot days , tough conditions for anglers and captain but John made it an outstanding experience.  You won’t find a more patient instructor than John as we repeatedly missed strike after strike!!!! In the end we improved enough to catch a dozen keepers of including mangrove snapper and trout. John sent us to Pink Flamingo where they cooked our catch both blackened and fried….. Coming back for sure.
