- My passion about fishing and Newfoundland and being able to make a living from what I love to do is a dream come true. I have been fishing pretty well all my life, and being a local and never away from my home province just gives me more passion about this area I call home. Being able to bring guests, friends, and repeat clients to my favorite spots and see the smiles on their faces makes me feel very satisfied. You've also got to have a feel for the environment and its surroundings, when you can make a living from the land and sea it is a real pleasure!
- Techniques
- Basically most of my fishing is done on shoals primarily focusing on cod, perch, rock cod, halibut, flounder, mackerel and squid. Most of the techniques is jigging using 3-4 ounce jigs, also do little trolling in spring for beautiful run of sea trout.
