This was an overall bad experience. He couldn’t put us on fish, I think he was hung over from a night of heavy drinking, very little interaction if it wasn’t for my wife and I talking to him it would have been complete silence. 👎👎👎

We booked many excursions and this was by far the worst. The boat was not set up properly and efficiently and the Captain had alcohol on his breath. I can not recommend this trip and hope that the company can address the situation with this feedback.

I booked All In One Charters morning fishing tour on July 28th. for $530. While there were cheaper afternoon trips available, I decided to pay a premium for the morning trip to avoid South Carolina’s scorching afternoon sun. Trip was scheduled to start at 7:30 AM. My family, including one eleven year old and one twenty year old boys reached the location before time. However, when we reached the boat, captain informed us that he had forgotten the keys for his truck that had all the fishing gear. Upon asking how long it will take to retrieve the gear, we were told that it would take twenty minutes to get to a place to pick the keys and then some time to get to the truck for the gear. My husband offered a ride but got no clear response from the captain. We came back to our car and called ” All in one charters”. The lady named Kendra on the phone sounded pretty inconsiderate and did not even offer an apology for all the inconvenience when I expressed my frustration and concern that this whole situation will delay our trip and it will get hot. We were offered to cancel the trip. However, after a quick consultation with my husband we decided to not cancel as we had already gone through the hassle of waking the boys up and getting here early. We went to a nearby restaurant, ate breakfast and contemplated canceling the trip concerned with the heat resulting from the delay. Called Kendra again and were told that it was too late to cancel as we had already refused the offer. Wait a second…wasn’t it your captain who had shown up without the gear in the first place? Anyhow, we were kind of forced to proceed with the trip now. We went back to the pier and captain was there. The trip started over one hour late i.e. at 8:40 AM instead of 7:30 AM. Now turned out that we did not have live bait. Captain ran the boat here and there looking for the bait saying that there was no live bait available in the market. Wait a second again, the booking says fishing gear, bait and cleaning of the catch included among other things in the price. Booking does not say that during my paid four hours for fishing captain will first catch the bait? Ridiculous and unprofessional! After over one hour Captain stopped the boat near another fishing boat passing by and asked if the other captain could spare us some bait. Well, the other captain not only had more than enough bait, but also was kind enough to give us a lot of really big crabs. Hmn! Just wondering, how come our captain i.e. Ronnie Kinner (The name given to us by the Fishing Booker) or Capt. Ricky ( as he introduced himself) could not find any bait in the market or before our trip and the other captain had it? Moving on we started fishing a little after 10:00 AM, a full two and a half hours after the scheduled time for our morning fishing trip. We caught eight Bonnet Head sharks. Obviously, we could not keep them as they are not good for eating. We asked the captain politely if we could try at some other spot to see may be we will catch some other variety, response was no and that he had inquired other captains in the area and they were not even lucky to catch this many sharks. At 11:15 AM Captain Ricky offered that if it was too hot for us he will take us back and will try to get us reimbursed for the time that we did not fish? Well it was already hot and had we started on time i.e. 7:30 AM we would be wrapping up our trip by that time. We said yes to that and came back. About the whole situation when I called Fishing Booker, their customer service agent Sophie/Sofie, was amazing and agreed that this should not have happened. Next day we were informed that we will be charged for two hours trip for four people instead of four hours. That price, according to them is $ 400.  For all the hassle and unprofessional service from the “All In One Charters - Inshore” I think we still paid a premium price for catching only one kind of fish that one can’t even eat. So, if you wish to be disappointed like we were, do book them, otherwise please look somewhere else.
