  great family fishing trip

  Full Day Inshore Reef Fishing Trip on March 29, 2026 • 7 adults • 1 child

  We chose to do the full day reef fishing with lunch. We started the day with George diving for conch, net casting for live bait, and then moved on to fish. We were not having luck at the forst few stops and George and Jones quickly made the decision to move on to another spot until we found one where the fish were biting. Everyone in our group was able to catch something. After we had plenty of fish, we headed to the beach where they served the best fresh conch civiche, and some of the fish we caught fried up and crispy. What made this trip the BEST was truly the crew, and their hospitality. They were helpful and made jokes with our 7 year old son, and mindful of the safety of some older adults. I would give this tour and crew 10/10 and would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun day on the water.

  Caught our own lunch!

  Half Day Inshore Reef Fishing (AM) on August 20, 2026 • 3 adults

  We had a great morning reef fishing with Capt Hillyboo. He and Carla were great at providing instruction and very attentive. We caught a ton of various snapper and two nice mackerel that made a delicious ceviche! Capt Hillyboo recommended a restaurant just down the block for lunch and we took our catch for an amazing fresh lunch! We had a great time and would definitely recommend fishing with them!! The young second mate was fun to have along as well!! Oh and the rum punch was delicious too!! Thanks Captain Hillyboo and Carla!

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Island Reef Fishing with Freedom Tours – Incredible Experience

  Half Day Inshore Reef Fishing (AM) on December 9, 2025 • 4 adults

  We had an amazing time on our island reef fishing trip with Freedom Tours Belize. Everything from start to finish was top-tier. Our group caught 32 fish — mostly different kinds of snapper and a few mackerel — and the fresh sashimi on the boat was unbelievable. Truly one of the highlights of the day. Carla and the captain were excellent — super knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole experience fun and easy, even for beginners. You can tell they really love what they do. I highly recommend Freedom Tours to any group looking for a great day on the water. Can’t wait to come back!

  No wahoo but plenty of tuna

  Half Day Trip – Deep Sea Fishing on November 22, 2025 • 2 adults

  My wife and I had a good time with captain Hillyboo, Carla, and Greg. We left at 8am with the Lucky Strike (clean as a whistle). My spouse has mobility problems; captain and crew went out of their way to help her on and off the boat. We were hoping to catch wahoo but that didn’t happen . That’s fishing, things don’t happen on demand. We caught tuna within the first 20 minutes in open sea and this continued for the better part of the trip. One tuna got caught by a predator so only part of it remained when I reeled it in. We also caught a barracuda. Captain Hillyboo cleaned enough fish for us for several meals. The barracuda was excellent and prepared by the cooks at El Caliente (which the captain recommended). Overall this was a great excursion and we were truly impressed by the knowledge and professionalism by the captain and his crew. In addition I need to point out that the Lucky Strike has a fighting chair needed for bigger fish. I have seen several advertisements for deep sea fishing where the boat is not equipped with a fighting chair. This yet another reason for me recommending this outfitter.

  Great Trip

  Full Day Trip - Offshore on June 3, 2026 • 4 adults

  we originally booked a deep sea fishing tour but the waves were a bit too much for us. Capitan Hillyboo, Carla and Byron suggested we switch to reef fishing and we caught Snapper for our lunch. We also did a little bit of snorkeling and had a terrific lunch on a private island. It was a really great day on the water. I recommend Freedom Tours for a wonderful day on the water.
