Destin can get a little chilly during the winter but we still get plenty of days where the sun pops out and it feels great. No matter what the conditions, though, fish gotta eat! Bay fishing in Destin has been great the past few weeks. Most of our fishing is with live bait casting in shallow water but we are also getting some fish on artificial lures including some big jack Krvel weighing over 20 pounds. We are primarily using a number of different live bait rigged on a knocker rig. Sometimes we are flylining live bait and that has been the ticket for trout when they are being finicky.i
