- Hi, my name is Dario! It’s hard for a foreigner to understand the bond the Croats have with the sea. My love for the sea, especially fishing, existed ever since I was a little kid. As I grew up, it made me explore further and I got to find many secret places, caves and pristine beaches. After my studies at Marine Fisheries, I got a job at Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries here in Split and that’s when my dreams come true. The next big step was, of course, combining my experience and expertise to create a company for custom made tours and excursions. My goal is the individual approach and a tour with enchanted exclusivity for my guests of any taste and preference. An introduction to the marine environment and the various fish fauna while enjoying a scenic cruise to the beautiful Dalmatian islands would then sound like a perfect summer escape.
- Techniques
- When I was young, I preferred fishing with gillnets, trammel nets, longlines, and traps. Now, I mainly prefer bottom fishing, trolling, deep sea fishing, and vertical fast and slow jigging.
