the redfish bite is very consistent. on lower tides fish structure just offshore, think hard pan, rocks or troughs. On higher tides fish points and small islands. No matter what the best sign is happy mullet. 2 to 3 inch pinfish or cut pinfish and mullet work the best

With the temperatures cooling the bait migration start red fish form big schools. The best way to find them is to find structure with happy mullet. Fishing cut baits is best. I usually use a quarter ounce jig head or a 3/0 circlehook. When the bite is really going anything worse. My favorite is jig heads and soft plastics specificaplease saltwater assassin and mirrolure little John.

The water's hot even though the days are getting shorter. There's some fish to be caught, red fish are being caught on live pinfish and cut baits like ladyfish and mullet. The gripper bite has been good on alive pinfish and sardines, if they're unavailable frozen works well.

This time if your fishing can be very tough The lack of decent bait shrimp and the master the amount of bait fish, mixed with warm water can sometimes be tough. I made a plan.We tossed some jigs and caught some small trout and stuff for cut bait. as the tide came up we used some circle hooks and cut ladyfish and got the boat limit of red fish.
