Captain Doug and his deckmate Chandler were first class individuals. They worked hard to provide a great fishing experience. Unfortunately the fish bdidnt bite as hoped. Thoroughly research reputable fishing reports for when you book your trip. Don’t completely rely on Fishingbooker.com, they’re in business to book trips not know the fishing circumstances. Check other sources..there are tricks to success and seasonal circumstances dictate the success. We fishes for 6 hours and caught two fish. Drove 11 hours to the “famous” Oregon Inlet just to come up empty handed. On the other hand…that’s fishing.

The Captain and crew were top notch. I will definitely book with them again.

The boat is a nice size and the deck is very clean. It has good space and seating in cabin. AC was not working completely on our trip but it was still fine inside.
No fish on our trip but that is fishing. Captain Doug kind of old school, just basic greeting a little bit of initial conversation and then disappear up to the fly wheel for the trip. The first mate was a little more talkative but also kind of reserved and quiet. He worked hard to try and find fish and kept the deck clean and organized. Due to lack of bites
and being told they really don’t see any fish on the finder, I cut the trip short by 30 or 40 minutes. Would have liked to see some other bait options tried or different fishing styles. They just stuck to trolling the same basic area and forth. They didn’t seem too interested in getting us fish. Also,  the ad states 3% for credit card charge, he charged me 4%. I think it was a little bit of a money grab but I didn’t say anything.
Overall it fine and I’m not complaining about lack of fish. Just $600 for trip and another $100 for tip (bc I felt bad if I didn’t tip even though not much done during trip) seemed kind of expensive for what we got. We took another charter the next day and while we didn’t get huge keepers the capt and mate found lots of smaller fish and crabs, were much more personae and kept the trip enjoyable.

Great trip had lot of fun crew and captain were great Very nice boat Very clean

Captain Doug was a genuine guy and did his best to help us find the fish. I took 5 of my kids out , we had a great time and learned a lot.  Three of the girls had never fished before and our first mate had them casting quickly
