Weather forced us to change plans, but captain and 1st mate worked with us to come up with a new plan, and put us on fish all day, my two boys had a ton of fun, would definitely use again

This was by far the best fishing trip I’ve been on. Great captain and a fantastic mates. Captain Doug knew the exact spots and mate Ben knew what he was doing.

We caught 6 amberjacks and trolled to land another mahi mahi. We highly recommend the tower trip with Captain Doug and mate Ben.

I unfortunately because of unforeseen circumstances was not able to attend the charter that I had booked for my wife’s birthday. Needless to say I was bummed but those who attended were not. Captain Doug had to adjust to more children aboard and unsafe conditions beyond the sandbar so he elected to keep them safe and fun. The kids had a blast, boat was terrific and I will as a frequent visitor to OBX be booking again. I will not give up till I get out on the open ocean. AC went on boat but I was made aware prior to like a gentleman. Thanks to whole cast and crew for showing my family a great time! Only next time I will be on board and hitting the towers!

Captain and crew was awesome. We only booked a 4 hour trip, but captain offered to take us further out than normal to try to catch some good eating fish. He had taken the morning group before us out further and they had great luck. We opted to take him up on the offer. 5 of us went out and we all managed to reel in at least one fish. The fish had slowed down compared to his morning trip. But we had fun and managed to catch a couple decent fish. Everyone had fun, and captain and crew worked hard to make sure we got to catch a few.  Boat was nice. Weather was nice. A/C was down, but we were informed and offered a refund. We opted to go with it as the weather wasn’t that hot.  We originally booked trip for Thursday, but weather was looking questionable. Captain worked with us as we had one or two small kids going. Allowed us to switch dates to Tuesday to ensure we would get to go out on a day with a good weather forecast.

This was the first real charter any of us had been on, and it beat our expectations.

Would absolutely book with them again. Hopefully we can do it again next year!!!

We had 3 adults and 3 teenagers for our morning charter.  CAPTIAN Doug and his 1sr mate Chandler were great.  We fished for about an hour near shore and caught 18 Ribbonfish.  Strange looking fish that none of us had ever heard of, but they made GREAT fish tacos…  Caption Doug then gave us options of staying in this area or venturing out for some other types of fish.  Those areas were not as active, but most if the fleet in area said the same thing.    Note we also onky had a 4 hrs excursion, I am sure with more time we could have landed the BIG ONE.  Upon returning to the dock, the 1st mate Chandler helped us unload our catch and bring to the cleaning station at the dock.  Overall, the trip was exactly what we expected.  In fact the interior cabin was a BONUS.  It rained a little upon departure and we were able to stay cool and dry, before we started fishing.  It was fun and I would recommend Doug , Chandler and the NO SWEAT.
