Had an excellent half day charter with Captain Dan. We were a mixed ability group with some experienced and one complete newbie. Captain Dan worked hard to put us on some fish while everyone out was having a real tough day. Mate Tom was awesome with the rods, tackle and setting us up for success . We all caught fish on a tough day where other charters were not catching. Mate Tom was great with the local knowledge and fishing knowledge as well. We had an excellent time! We will be back and would Definitely recommend!

Captain Mike and first mate Ken just made our trip so exciting and adventuresome ! our grandchildren were so overjoyed to catch over 11 fish and ken fillet them for us, and he prepared them so we could transport them home on ice I can’t say enough ! we can’t say enough ! and our kids can’t say enough ! they’re the best!!!

Outstanding trip!  We were booked for a Tue afternoon but rough weather / waves changed our plans.  Dan was able to get us into one of his few open slots afternoon the next day - glad we waited and it worked out.  Perfect day, 6 family members had a blast - Dan kept us on the fish and both kids and the old timer caught keepers which Tom cleaned - delicious.  Highly recommend the Salt Shaker, Dan and Tom do an excellent job, know their stuff and provide a great experience.

What a great cruise! Capt. Dan knew the best spots, and Tom, our deckhand gave us all the tools and training to start catching stripers in no time! Highly recommend this charter for a great relaxing and pleasant day (or half day, in our case) of catching fish as fast as you can feel them in.

We had a wonderful experience with Captain Dan and crew. Caught over 20 fish and took home 4. Great experience for our 2 kids (4 and 9). Everyone fought at least one fish.
