The Salt Shaker is a 36 ft H&H Marine boat that is powered by a 500 HP Cummins engine. This spacious vessel gives a comfortable ride, and its private restroom is a particular bonus. Fitted with a full packet of electronics and safety equipment, the boat also features a fighting chair and outriggers should you decide to go after big game.
While Captain Dan primarily fishes the Cape for Striped Bass and Bluefish, he can also take you further offshore in search of Bluefin Tuna and Sharks. Both light and heavy tackle are provided on board, and you can put a variety of techniques into practice, including trolling, jigging, and popping.
All tackle you will need on your trip is provided, but please remember to bring suitable clothing as well as any snacks and drinks you might like on your fishing adventure.

🎣 Had an absolutely epic day on the Salt Shaker Sports Fishing Charter with my son, brother-in-law, and nephew! Captain Dan and first mate Connor are an unbeatable team! From the moment we arrived, their professionalism shone through. They're not just honest, they're 100% upfront about whether it's going to be a good day for fishing or not. No wasting time or money! 🚤 Once aboard, Captain Dan asked us what we wanted to do. His plan to fill the box with slot fish first and then go for the slobs was spot-on, and that's exactly what we did! Connor, the first mate, was a pro at cleaning the fish exactly how we wanted. 🐟 The knowledge these guys have about local fishing spots is impressive. They made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip, and even advised us on what to bring. The boat was spacious enough for the four of us, with plenty of room for two more if needed. We loved having four fighting chairs! 💪🏼 At one point, we had a triple hook up and landed all three bass! The boys (and honestly, all of us) left with seriously tired arms after jigging for hours. But seeing those huge fish come over the rail into the boat? Pure excitement! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely a five-star charter and one of the best I've been on in my life. Captain was committed to my son catching a fish and drove us to many locations until it finally happened! Beautiful day on the water. First Mate very personable and helpful. Good trip for people who want to enjoy a few hours on the water.
