I went out with my 84 year young Dad and we had a blast.  Capt. Abraham was very accommodating and put us on the fish. While we weren’t able to get our targeted roosterfish, it wasn’t for a lack of trying.  We caught mackerel, mahi mahi, bonito, and a couple of skip jack.  Fun times, and definitely recommend this trip!

Helpful, and keep their boat exceptionally clean. And we’re as excited for our catches as were we.  Fun day.

Captain had my wife and I on fish within 45 minutes leaving the bay. Very experienced behind the helm and fishing the pacific targeting Mahi Mahi and other species. On our second round of fish of Mahi we delayed getting on boat and landed a second one which was a bull! Highly recommend this crew!

Had lots of fun fishing with Abraham and Jose at Marietas Fishing. They worked hard to find the fish. The Dorado were a bit finicky, but we landed one. Just wish we would have booked a longer trip. Very nice Panga boat with shade. He also used very nice Avet reels. Would definitely book with him again.

Good overall trip i would recommend them. Got us on fish and to two different types of fishing areas in a single day. First we went out and trolled bonita and spanish mackerel landing a few each. Then nearer shore targeting roosters and jack crevalles….the fun part of trip we’d chase the diving birds into a small school and get 1-3 casts out with surface poppers/jerk baits.
Gear was good, avet reels on some different decent quality rods ....they had three out trolling and the deckhand would cast from bow handing it to one of us if he hooked up, or allow us to cast out ....i brought my own spin set up so we were both able to cast which made for more fun….they had some jerk baits but again brought a few of my own which made for easy options. That all said, if interested in being active in casting etc make sure your boat has enough spin gear on board. Credit to the captain for being active and on it chasing bait.
They did have the drag set too hard for my preference, i like a fish to pull line when making a run…they had drag set hard and wanted us to reel in non stop….perhaps more interested in getting fish in the boat then the game, just not my particular style. They cleaned catch and offered what we’d like to keep, i kept a bonita and had local restaurant cook up, La Cabana in Punta Mita.
This was my only experience panga fishing Mexico so not a lot to compare it to. Overall a very good trip and fun fishing, I would recommend them. I think my light critiques may be more about Mexican Panga fishing in general….as a boat owner I am so accustomed to my own set up and gear it’s hard to do otherwise.
