Captain Ricky’s enthusiasm for fishing shines through.  He wants you to catch fish and works hard to make it happen.  He’s absolutely delivered the two times we’ve fished with him.  Highly recommended!

CAPT Ricky and his mate Hunter were out of this world. We had a great great time and caught a bunch of fish. Actually caught a 38 pound King. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to have fun and enjoy the water.

Stop here and book with Captain Ricky! 1st let me say, I am not a review writer, it’s just not me. I eventually end up getting too busy to go back and say thank you. So I am stopping to take the time to show my appreciation to Captain Rick via writing this review. If your goal is to catch fish and it should be based on your investment, then I hope you can take a good look at the picture attached. Without going too deep in the details let me start. 1st - Captain Rick’s communication with me prior to even coming on the charter was extremely professional. He had concerns about the weather and did not want me to make a blank trip to Florida just to get on his boat. A family friend who is an avid fisherman shared with me that the Captain is correct, based on what he is hearing we shouldn’t go out the seas are too rough. Captain Rick explained that if we still wanted to go out, the next day will more than likely be a go. Long story short we went out on Christmas Eve.

If you want to get the most for your money go with SeaCo Fishing Charter (Captain Ricky). If you don’t enjoy yourself I will have the IRS reimburse you (LOL). 2nd - Safety, Safety, Safety is what Captain Rick provided although we caught the mother load. Did I catch the Red Snapper and Yellowtail and my grandmother’s favorite fish from my childhood, no? Did we catch Vermillion Snapper and Trigger Fish? Open your eyes and take a good look at the fish. My only regret is that I did not stay out there ALL DAY LONG! But don’t worry, I am already planning and strategizing on how that will be accomplished. Lastly, I am not a fisherman. I enjoy catching fish. If you are somewhat like me, where you enjoy fishing but don’t know how to do all the things to bring the fish in the boat then you need to be on this charter. Enough said! Now book your trip, be on time, be specific on what you want, and get it done. Stop dreaming and make it a reality! I can only speak of my experience with Captain Ricky. So if I took the time to write this review after my experience, I would hope that you would do the same after you take your picture and get settled. Captain Ricky has alot of of positive reviews and for my Wife ,Brother in law and Myself we definitely see why.We arrived on time and Ricky and first mate Cody were ready for us,a brief introduction and off we go.The day was overcast and really over all good conditions. Ricky’s first stop go catch some bait and that he did. We then headed out to sea to fish.We hit the spot and as previous reviews said we were on the fish.We dropped lines and almost immediately we had our first fish it was barracuda but as this was our first time on charter we were all very excited. Then following up we hit on 5 nice kingfish and it was the best fishing experience. The fish just kept hitting one after another. Ricky and first mate Cody are truly professional informative and with there experience gave us a first trip that lives memories of a lifetime. I would definitely book more trips with him and as you can see tell anyone going to St. Augustine to book with Ricky.we are first ti.e charters and could not of had a better experience. Thank you

I took my family on a half day trip with Captain Ricky and Cody. We literally had the best time. We got close up to the shrimping boats to see the dolphins, sharks, and tarpon trailing behind it. We found schools of Bonita fish and were able to catch a few. My fiancé was able to hook a shark, but we were unable to get it to the boat. However, my fiancé was able to finally hook a tarpon and it was on and popping. Lol. After an 80 minute fight with this huge tarpon, the tarpon finally succumbed to my fiancé great angler skills. During the fight, Captain Ricky showed great control over the boat and we were thoroughly impressed by him. He even risked ending up in divorce court with his wife by staying out wayyyy past our time to make sure we won the fight against the tarpon 🤣🤣 All together my family had a great day and we would highly recommend Captain Ricky to anyone looking to enjoy a day on the water.
