Capt. James was on time, great with kids, and very patient. Our kids had a couple bAd experiences on too-fast, too bumpy boat rides and I wanted to recalibrate their idea of boating. Not only did we each catch a couple snook, we had some amazing dolphin watching, a really superb sunset, and best of all, three kids who are now anxious to get out in a boat again. If you are looking to land dinner, you may want to take his advice and go deeper to find those tasty fish. However, if you are looking for some leisurely shallow fishing and some family bonding with some playful banter on the side, Capt. James checks all the boxes!

Even though it was the middle of the summer and the bite is not great Capt James put us on fish. We caught a mixed bag, snook, snapper and trout with a couple of catfish for fun. Truly a professional with a great knowledge of where to go and when to go there. He was also very personable and was great with my kids who upon getting off the boat were already looking to book another trip the next time we are in town. I can with great confidence recommend Capt James for a great day on the water. The boat is in perfect order and the equipment is top notch as well. He checks all the boxes.
