Captain James was really fun to fish with! He took us to several different spots and the fish were biting all day. He handled the waves with ease and made our family trip really enjoyable. He really excelled at multi tasking the trolling motor, helping us in hook some of the teethier fish, and handing out bait because his fishing spots were really non-stop action. We had a blast and will definitely book with him again in the future!

I booked a full day trip with Capt. James on a weekend. I had never fished the gulf before and was looking forward to doing some exploring and learning about the inshore fishing. James had us on all different types of spots and structure all around the area, we really did move around all day chasing prime conditions at spots he had pre-planned out. James was patient enough to help me understand some of the decisions we made and what to look for to find fish. We caught a huge variety of fish including snapper, sheepshead, snook, redfish and others. I had a blast and would recommend James to any of my friends or family and will definitely book again when I am in the area.

We had a great morning trip fishing for Snook with Capt. James.  It was my son’s first time fishing for Snook and Capt. James had plenty of spots to keep us on the fish.  Good sized boat with plenty of casting room.  Great equipment and a very knowledgeable Captain.

James Gibson is an inshore master! We caught 5 species of fish. We caught several snook, Speckled trout, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, saltwater Catfish, snapper…We caught about 60 fish over 6 hours. We will be fishing with James Gibson ever time we go to Sarasota. I am a tournament bass angler and know what I am doing but I still learned a thing or two from James! We had a blast! Best guide in the area…
