Rishi is a great angler tbh knows the water well and is able to take you to catch a fish, we all know its called fishing not catching haha. But he does try his best with many different methods to catch something. On our trip we caught 5 tuna nothing overly exciting however rishi made it possible to catch as it was a very slow day even for the other boats around at the time.

Such a brilliant experience! Rishi and his first mate were super friendly and made us feel really welcome on our first ever sea fishing trip. Even the 5am boat ride out on the ocean was something special, the stars out there were unreal. Rishi really knows his stuff and showed us loads of different techniques that actually worked! We had an amazing time and honestly can’t recommend him enough.

Rishi and his colleague are an authentic, well-rehearsed and very friendly team. You can quickly sense that they both live for fishing in their waters and have a huge wealth of experience and the right techniques. Reacting quickly to new situations is also no problem. I think this man always catches a fish. When we are back in Mauritius we will be happy to go out with him again. Best regards!

We went on Rishi Fishing Excursions on December 30, 2024. The trip was a 9 hour deep sea fishing trip with Captain Rishi and crew. The boat was very clean. The captain and co-captain were friendly and knew the fishing area extremely well. They showed professionalism and a lot of skill in using different fishing methods. We where with three from our side and Rishi and his partner Ron. Both are not only excellent professionals but also great Very knowledgeable, skilled and at the same time very nice people. We had great conversations about other stuff. Fishing gear was in top condition and we fished for Tuna, mahi mahi and marlin. It was a pleasure to be with them for 6 hours. Without any doubt the first number we will call when we want to fish again on Mauritius.
