My wife and I booked this trip on our honeymoon. We started out deep to try and get some sailfish but didn’t get any hits so we moved closer to the reef and started to get hits. Our first catch was a good sized barracuda. After that we caught 6 king mackerel, a cero macker, and a bonita. Seemed like when we got on em, we caught a few in a short span. We enjoyed the trip, wish we could have caught a sailfish but you can’t make them bite.

I was so worried our trip was going to be canceled due to the hurricane coming in but I got a phone call this morning letting me know the weather was still looking clear enough if we were still ready to go out. Yep!!! Got the crew together and off we went and it was an absolutely beautiful day. We left right on time after a short little briefing and lines went in the water as soon as we got beyond the reef. We immediately got a mahi mahi on the line. I’m happy I’m the one who reeled it in because it was my only one because I got sick after that. I really did want the kids to have the majority of the time anyway. I’ve been on numerous boats my entire life from little to big and I’ve never experienced being seasick. I guess there’s a first for everything. The boat was fantastic and everyone caught several fish. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Crew and boat very accommodating and informative. Took family members and friends of the family (6) altogether. Highlight of the trip was I caught a 5’ sailfish, we caught other fish too, so for me it was a successful day of fishing and making those memories.

My husband and I went out for a full day of fishing on Corsair.  Captain Russ and First Mate/Fisherman Christian were exceptional.  We went out on a very rough day as it had been windy for several days (not their fault).  We were aware of the conditions but as seasoned sailors (lived on a sailboat for 14 years in the Caribbean) we decided to go anyway.
Christian is quite the fisherman and set up six lines and watched them like a hawk.  We caught a small Bonita in the morning.  At lunch the captain decided to change it up and we went further out.  This proved to be effective and we ended up catching 9 smaller Mahi Mahi.  Not what we had hoped for but we came home with some fish.  We dipped the mahi in egg and then in coconut Panko and topped it with mango, avocado, red onion, and cilantro relish.  Yummy.

The captain got busy cleaning the fish as soon as we were docked and Christian joined him a bit later after he washed down the boat.  We had a great time.

Captain Russel and his First Mate Jeff (who also has his captains license) were fantastic!  It’s obvious they have been fishing for many, many years.  The captain of the Corsair 2 kept us reeling in Black Fin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Lesser and Greater Jackfish and Barracuda all day!!  The first mate worked all 6 lines continuously to give us the best chance of catching fish and catching fish we did!  I would certainly book another trip with these guys.  We had 3 generations on board and we all keep talking about this being the hi light of our 10 day trip to the keys. 

After a beautiful and highly successful trip at sea the captain and first mate of The Corsair 2 filleted all our fish and directed us to several restaurants to cook our catch which we took full advantage of.  We loved the job Hurrican Hole did with preparing our catch and used them twice.  As great of a job Hurricane Hole did, having sashimi on the dock carved by our prepared captain was truly a remarkable memory.  Love the job these guys did.  Loved the day we had!  Thank You!
