Booked a charter for the middle child’s 10th bday weekend and I can’t shut up about it. Not only did Capt. Gavin and his deckhand Braden have us on fish the whole time. But they explained to the boy’s, here’s where we’re going and why. This is what we’re gonna do when we get there and why. We caught some MONSTER Red Snapper and Amberjack. My family of 3 booked a 5-hour in-shore trip and had a great morning. The weather was a little cold, but warmed and with little wind it was beautiful! Captain Eric kept us in his favorite “spot” at the pass until we nearly caught the limit of Pompano! Fun fishing. Super nice captain.

We had a really great trip fishing! Two young men (19 & 22) took us out…..I was a nervous wreck! However, they done a great job! I felt safe at all times. They were the politest young men. We only caught 3 fish, one keeper but as I stated before, a storm was rolling and the water was really rough! The people before us caught 10 huge fish with these young men. Would use them again :)

Gavin was phenomenal, put us on the fish, was patient with the 3 first timers, had a wealth of knowledge, and a pleasure to spend the day with. Craig, the owner, was very prompt and accommodating as our trip was scheduled the day Hurricane Francine was scheduled to make landfall, he reached out n was able to reschedule based on the times we had available during our trip. Will definitely be booking many more excursions with Emerald C

Me and my family went out with Captain Gavin and he was top notch!!! We would recommend Emerald C Charters and Captain Gavin to anyone headed to Pensacola or Perdido Key area!! Captain Gavin made sure we had a great time and caught fish.  We caught 8 black snapper, 1 whitting, 1 Spanish mackrel, and a black tip shark.  We will book with Emerald C and Captain Gavin when we return!  Thanks for an awesome day and catch Captain Gavin!!!
