- Merlín has been fishing all his life, first commercially, then switched to sportfishing. He has been a licensed captain since 2014. A native of Quepos, he fluently speaks English and Spanish. He loves everything about his job, it allows him to do what he loves for a living and he's grateful for that. He participates in various tournaments including the "World Offshore", and Pelagic inshore/offshore ones. He has a second captain, Robbie Segura, who will also run trips for him occasionally. Robbie has 35 years of fishing experience and also speaks English and Spanish. The first mates also speak both languages.
