Background: My love for Crappie fishing began with weekend trips with my dad as a young kid. From there I got into Bass fishing and fishing tournaments, mainly in East Texas. When I moved back to the Dallas area I renewed my passion for crappie fishing and have been fishing Lewisville Lake since 2009. I began guiding so I could combine my 2 biggest passions - fishing and teaching. Every day on the lake presents a learning opportunity. I welcome all ages and skill levels, from beginner to seasoned angler.

Winter Fishing!

Fishing is great right now! Sandbass and hybrids have settled into their winter patterns.

White Bass Trip

Mar 11, 2025 Lewisville

Aaron, Daniel, Sammie, Waylon and Emerson were in town all the way from South Dakota and wanted to di some Texas fishing! Fish are still deep and a little lethargic but these guys put 57 in the boat. All caught on tiny flukes in 50 feet of water.

White bass action is heating up!

12/27/24 I had Keith, Richard, Ro and Mr. Neal out for some white bass and hybrids. Day started out very foggy and chilly but heated up as the day progressed. Fishing was good early as well until the wind picked up. Ended up with 25 big white bass and 3 keeper hybrids.

Hybrid Striper and Sanbass trip

Took a little while to find ‘em today but finally found a few to cooperate. Caught several more undersized hybrids as well.

Catfish/Crappie trip

Crappie did not cooperate much so we tried some catfishing. The crappie that did bite were good ones and Jonathon ended up with his new personal best catfish, 11.5 pounds!

A little bit slower day for numbers but not for quality! Ended up with 15 keepers including one just shy of 2 pounds!
