Our family had the pleasure of fishing with Grayson when we were in Placencia last week. He was extremely engaging and taught us about the wildlife while we were fishing. Everyone that wanted to fish on our trip caught a fish, so I considered that a success. We had a wonderful time, several laughs and an excellent experience. It was pretty windy so Grayson decided to troll the lagoon side of the peninsula where the water was more calm. He had his spots already planned out and did a great job of trying to find the fish. Although the action was a little slow, we did find a good spot where they were biting and managed to land a few Jacks and a Mackerel. Next time I would book a full day and hit the reef where there’s more variety though. If we come back to Belize I know who to call, highly recommend Waata Daag!!

Fished two full days with Grayson, one for tarpon and one offshore. Tarpon fishing was a blast! Saw many fish rolling. Boated two but got many near the boat before they got off. (No problem for me as they were just going right back in the water anyway. Grayson has many little honey holes where he finds the fish. Offshore we had several strikes, but nothing landed. This was the highlight of our vacation. Grayson was a great captain. His main goal was to put us on fish. We caught a lot of fish and enjoyed the beautiful inner reef experience. Would highly recommend…
