- Background
- Let's go out today and make the memory of a lifetime! Fishing is my greatest passion in life, my father and grandfather began fishing our waters in 1956 and instilled an appreciation for this slice of paradise in me. Passing my passion and knowledge onto clients always brings a smile to my face. I hope we get to spend a day on the water together soon!!!
- Techniques
- Southwest Florida offers a truly unique fishing experience. One day we can be in the back bay in less than a foot of water or the next day be several miles offshore. —-INSHORE TRIPS—- live bait is the simplest and most productive way to catch fish inshore. We will be fishing mostly with pilchards and thread-fin herrings and occasionally shrimp/pinfish at fishing holes near mangrove islands, grass flats, man-made structures, passes between islands and beaches. Large snook and redfish is my personal favorite species to target inshore but there are numerous other options depending on the season and conditions; such as sheepshead, trout, mackerel, tarpon, snapper, black drum, sharks, triple-tail, and others! -Nearshore— If weather and conditions permit we will sometimes fish the nearshore wrecks and reefs. Some species we may catch include; king mackerel, bonito, barracuda, permit, snapper, cobia, grouper, sharks, and jacks.
