Captain Jack’s Fishing Charter’s goal is to create the memory of a lifetime on every trip. Capt. Jack has been fishing the waters of Southwest Florida since he was a toddler and was lucky to have a father and grandfather (who first moved to Fort Myers in 1956) pass on their fishing knowledge to him. All ages and skill levels are welcomed aboard, from rookies to hardcore anglers, Capt. Jack can cater a trip to your needs.

Capt. Jack pilots a beautiful, 2023 Southern Cross 23’ vessel powered by a reliable 2023 Yamaha 225 horsepower motor that can handle rough days and get into shallow fishing holes making it perfect for plying the waters of Southwest Florida. It’s T-top gives plenty of shade from Florida’s brutal sun complete with a tower and second station. An extra-wide beam and clutter-free deck give his clients plenty of room to move around, fight fish and relax. With a brand new trolling motor, massive bait-well, state-of-the-art GPS/SONAR, Bluetooth sound system, and more to help our clients increase their chances of landing fish.

You’ll target a bunch of different fish species, depending on the season and fishing technique you’re using. Some of the most popular catches are Mackerel, Snapper, Redfish, Snook, and Sheepshead. You can keep the catch and the captain will clean it for you after the trip.

Fishing is not the only way to enjoy these waters! Capt. Jack also combines fishing with eco-tours, shelling trips, and sunset cruises. Enjoy the isolated beaches of North Captiva and Cayo Costa State Park, picking up shells the majority can’t reach. Watch beautiful birds, dolphins, and manatees play in their natural habitat instead of an aquarium.

What an awesome day!

We had the most amazing morning of fishing. Captain Jack made sure that a 3-year old toddler and a golden ager Mom had an equally wonderful experience. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters and even coaxed dolphins to surf in our wake. When we come back to Fort Myers, we will only fish with him.

Another great trip with Captain Jack!

Captain Jack knows his waters, knows where the fish are, and how to minimize weather impact on fishing. Grandkids loved the day! One was new to fishing, the other new to sea fishing. Captain Jack was great with the kids giving them the greatest attention not lacking any patience! Hooked up several snook with my youngest 13 year old grandson snagging the largest and his first fish, also being the first fish of the day! Action was practically nonstop with a variety of fish at different spots. Can't imagine considering any captain other than Captain Jack when fishing in this area!

My wife and I took a trip with Capt. Jack and he helped her absolutely crushed the snook. He was very patient and helpful and she was able to land a 31 inch snook with his help. He’s a true professional and I would highly recommend him anytime you want to fish out of Fort Myers.

Jack was amazing. Captain Jack knew all the right spots, quickly and efficiently helped us bait our hooks etc. we caught snapper, tons of snooks and lady fish. my son hooked a Tarpon, then after that battle- he took us out to fish for sharks! we caught several! In addition to his knowledge of fishing and the ocean, he was also prepared, super patient, relaxed and professional. We will be booking with him again soon!

Best Experience Ever!!

I don’t even know where to begin. I took my 8 year old with me and it did not disappoint. From pick up to drop off Captain Jack was the absolute best. He treated my son like he was his own. The knowledge he has for the water and fishing is unbelievable. He was so patient with everything. We caught Sea Trout and Snook (the sea trout was delicious). I truly can’t thank Captain Jack enough for this experience, it’s a memory my son and I will cherish for a lifetime. We will be coming back yearly for a father son trip and will only use Captain Jack.
