Captain John was the best! He took 5 of us (myself, my wife, and 3 teens) out for an awesome adventure at sea. We had the first shark on a line within 5 minutes. We reeled in a bonnethead and 2 blacknose in less than 3 hours. He was a great guide and kept us entertained the whole trip. This will definitely be a return trip for us and we can’t wait for the next time!

My daughter, son in law and I had a great trip with Captain John! We did an offshore trip for some bottom fishing. The ride out was nice and he put us on the fish right away. We caught lots of fish, keeping some for some dinner later that evening. Daughter caught a Mahi right next to the boat that was just an inch short of keeping. On the ride back, we all three took a great nap on the awesome bean bag chairs he has on the boat, while he got us back safe sound. Definitely recommend Reel-Axing!

What a great fishing trip! Captain John was very knowledgeable and kept bait on our hooks. I always go on these fishing trips knowing the Captain can get us to the fish but not guarantee the catch. Not Captain John. He not only brought us to the fish but made sure we caught as many as possible. I highly recommend chartering a trip with Captain John. I know I will be. He was fantastic with everyone especially the kids (15yr, 13yr,10yr). We had a great time. We didn’t catch what we were hoping but it’s fishing and no fault at all of his, he. He made sure even after the hurricane with water levels super high that we got to fish for our sons 13 birthday. He is awesome with kids, from making sure their hook had bait to casting for them he went above and beyond.
