Captain Ryan was absolutely amazing. He was able to fit us in early in the morning and knew all of the good spots. He is very knowledgeable about the area and different kinds of fish. I highly recommend this charter if you are looking for a good time whether it’s a family event or a couple of people. 10/10

We were scheduled to fish on a Wednesday morning. Hunter called on Monday to let us know that Wednesday mornings weather would not be fair for fishing and asked if we would like to move to Tuesday. I like how professional the experience was as they wanted us to catch fish not just take our money. The boat and equipment were top notch. The bay is beautiful. Overall a great experience and would defiantly book again if down in that area.

Early morning inshore trip for 4 hours.  Captain Ryan Brown was already at the ramp with the boat ready when we arrived a little before 6AM.  We started our trip with the Captain catching live bait via a cast net. 

The fishing started with us targeting Trout, and Captain Brown put us in the right spot the first attempt.  Really fast action!  We ended up catching our limit (3 each) within 45 minutes!  We did land several other undesirable species during this time and also lost some, mainly due to fisherman’s fault.  We also hooked into several large fish that broke our lines so we were not able to see what species got away. 

Having limited on trout, we then targeted Redfish and through that process ending up catching a number of under sized redfish and some other species (stingray and catfish) that we released.  End the trip catching a very nice redfish.

Captain Brown is very experienced, patient, and accommodating.  He knew how to put us on the fish quickly and knew when we needed to move to another area.  He is also knowledgeable about the area and willing to answer any questions asked as we moved around the area.  He also cleaned our catch at the end of the trip sending us home with a number of Trout and Redfish fillets. 

I definitely recommend this captain and boat for a trip!  I will book again! 

I will end with this, that has nothing to do with Captain Ryan Brown or is negative in any way about our trip, but want to share so others are aware:
I would suggest that if your goal is to catch and keep a significant number of fish, take more than two people on your trip.  State limits on trout and redfish are small so you can limit out pretty quickly with just two people.  Might also suggest that you request the captain bring shrimp or another bait along in case you do limit out on your targeted targeted species so you can target other species that won’t take the live fish we were fishing with that the captain caught.

The captain was very knowledgeable about where to fish and what kind of fish to catch.  Good overall experience.

Capt. Hunter was great.  Knows the waters as he has grown up on them.  Definitely recommend them!
