Thank you Max for the wonderful experience out on the sea and teaching us how to fish! Its our first time out in the Sg waters to fish and such fun. Even though due to seasonality there weren’t many fishes / bites, we enjoyed ourselves. But, we managed to catch two stonefishes! Was a surprise for my partner’s birthday and he loved it too! The boat was well kept, Max was really friendly and approachable and was knowledgeable about the sg waters and fishes. Awesomeeeee trip! Thank you Max!! :):)

Overall we had a great trip and look forward to planning our next trip!

Captain Max and Skipper Dan were friendly hosts who readily shared their knowledge and helped us with our gear and bait. So it makes it a breeze for anyone new or not to the sport.

Although we packed food, we decided to try the floating restaurant instead which was a nice experience. Brings you back in time a little :) But you can also maximise your fishing time by eating onboard as well.

You will fish in the northern parts of Singapore towards Changi but that already makes for some traveling time by boat. It will have less traffic (which makes for less pollution in my opinion) but then again we went during the weekday.

“Striper” is a cosy boat but a bigger boat could have been more spacious for 5 adults; then again you may not need so much space if you are focused on your catch - which we were! 8 hrs was barely enough for us! It really depends on your needs and preferences.

The fishing trip was perfect! As a first timer fishing, our skipper Max was patient in guiding. He was also very knowledgeable in where to catch the best fishes and brought us to different fishing spots so that we could catch them. Overall a very positive experience and would recommend going for it! I’d go again for sure! (:

Max & Dan are good guys, helpful, chatty & experienced. Unfortunately luck was not on our side and caught 2 catfish only (the kids were happy!). Maybe it had something to do with the banana we brought on board. Old fishing tale is that it brings bad luck ! So take the advice ;)
