My son and I spent a gorgeous day in Wheeler fishing with Captain Kyle. First of all, Kyle is a super nice guy and very easy to talk to. I like to think we’d be good buds if we lived close to each other. He’s also a very knowledgeable teacher who is willing to teach and has great patience with less experienced anglers. Kyle set the tone of the fishing trip from the beginning of day with his humor and charm and that allowed all the boat’s passengers to enjoy not only the great fishing but also each other’s company. Even during a difficult situation caused by no one’s fault but perhaps a smart fish all our poles got tangled up and as a team we were quickly able to disentangle them as we already were happy with the tone of the fishing trip. We took a family of 8 on the fishing excursion.  We had fun as a group and the guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. We will be back!

Kyle was a terrific guide and put us on fish after only a few hours. He is super personable and a great coach for both beginner and experienced fishermen. He called ahead of time to make sure we were all set and knew where to go so we had a super easy and smooth trip. Plus coffee and mini donuts!! What more could you want?! :) Thanks for a great trip!

We had a wonderful time fishing sturgeon! Our captain Kyle suggested we try sturgeon fishing instead of salmon as fishing for salmon was really slow. Our party of 4 each caught one!  Crazy fun trying to reel in!! Kyle was outstanding. Would highly recommend and also gave us a great recommendation for donuts!! Thanks LeRoy, Josie, Ped, Becky
